Matthew Elliott has labelled Wigan's flying winger Jason Robinson the biggest threat to Bradford Bulls' chances of securing a crucial win in Sunday night's table-topping showdown at the JJB Stadium.
The Bulls coach tried to sign the Warriors dynamo a couple of years ago and ranks him one of the top performers in the game since the launch of Super League in 1996.
"He's a real one-off in many ways with his low centre of gravity and speed off the mark," said Elliott.
"I don't think any other player in the competition could have scored the crucial try just before half-time against us at Odsal.
"We had been going well up to that point but his try turned the game and we are only too well aware of the threat he poses again on Sunday night."
But Elliott pointed out that his side cannot afford to gang up on Robinson too much because Wigan have the quality in other areas to take advantage.
"Terry Newton has troubled us in both games and they have skill right across the park," said Elliott.
"It would also be dangerous for me to mark Wigan down as our biggest rival. But they are on top of the competition at the moment, and deservedly so.
"We have to start showing once again that we have what it takes to really mix it with the top sides."
Olympic athlete John Regis is to help the Bulls bid for the Super League title by holding a sprint session at the club next Tuesday.
Alex Wilkinson notched a hat-trick as the Bulls beat Dewsbury 40-20 in the Alliance League at Odsal. Paul Sykes (2), Gareth Handford and Chris Langley were also on the mark with Sykes adding six goals.
