A youth group, which won a national award, is already planning more community good deeds.
The Lund Park Youth Action group have been named as local heroes and are among eight regional winners of the Nationwide Awards for Voluntary Endeavour.
They were celebrating their achievement at Keighley Clockhouse Centre, a respite centre for disabled people in Oakworth Road, where they have been helping lay a patio and establish plants.
The 11 boys aged, 12 to 16, all members of the Bangladeshi Community Association in Keighley, received a £100 cheque and a plaque at a special ceremony in London.
The group works under the guidance of Keighley PC David Brown who said: "The boys have done exceptionally well. They were competing against 60 other groups in their category.
"Now we are looking at continuing the work and next we will be attacking graffiti."
Fifteen year-old Nefur Ali of Malsis Road, Keighley, joined Kalam Ali, 16, of Caledonia Street, Keighley and Mojnu Ali of Park Avenue, Keighley, to accompany PC Brown to the ceremony,
Says Nefur: "It was excellent. It was great to win."
The boys have carried out a number of projects including a tidy-up campaign around the Bangladeshi Centre, planted flowers in planters at Lancaster House, Keighley and painted the gullies around the bowling greens in Lund Park.
They are now in line to be selected to compete for the national award, which will take place in October.
There the winners will receive £2,500 for a charity of their choice and £500 in gifts.
Last year Keighley-based Lawkholme Lane Youth Action group won the national award and donated the money to the police summer scheme.
Keighley Divisional Commander, Superintendent Derek Bonnard said: "We value the partnership we have with young people in the Keighley area and are committed to working alongside them to make the district a safer and more pleasant place in which to live and work."
The boys already know how they are to spend the £100 vouchers.
Later in the year they plan to hold a day trip to the American Adventure theme park in Derbyshire and on the way back enjoy a pizza feast.
