THREE-year-old Rebekah Everett stole the show at this year's Skipton in Bloom competition with her wheelbarrow of brightly coloured potted plants.
The youngster, of Burnside Crescent, won the first ever children's class and was thrilled to be able to show off her certificate to her siblings.
Mum Gillian said Rebekah had asked to help in the garden. "She wanted to do something, so she used a wheelbarrow and we took her to the bedding plant shop on Brougham Street and it went from there.
"She has loved it and it has given her a little bit of responsibility," she added.
Now Rebekah not only has her own gardening clothes and boots but a wendy house and her own garden at home.
Gillian is to take Rebekah to Lakeside Garden centre at Foulridge to spend her money on some children's garden tools.
At the presentation ceremony at Skipton Town Hall, Mayor Richard Colley said there had been 36 entries this year. "The standards have been high as usual and everyone deserves a pat on the back," he added.
All the winners were presented with certificates and vouchers with additional prizes sponsored by Lakeside Garden Centre at Foulridge.
