COLLINGHAM and Menston are battling it out at the top of Division B of the Airedale and Wharfedale League each having 69 points while Ilkley have moved into third place on 65. Green Lane look set to miss out on promotion once again. They are currently in fourth place nine points adrift.
On Saturday they lost by one wicket to Menston after being restricted to 134-9 as Michael Brendankamp took 5-51. On a day for bowlers Tony Pickersgill took 6-39 to slow down Menston but he could not prevent Menston from taking the points.
There was a superb bowling display from Charlie Martin which assured Otley of the points against Illingworth. He grabbed eight wickets at a cost of just 24 runs.
Some good batting by opener Jon Hughes (67 no), Chris Quaife (21) and Rhodri Jones (22) saw Ilkley to a five wickets win over Alwoodley who were restricted to 133-9 as Chris Henry took 5-53 off 200 overs and Majid Nian 3-31 off 18.

Addingham 136-7 (S May 74 no, D Houlston 20 no, J Haigh 3-29); *Hall Park 137-3 (S Wilson 64 no, R Murphy 30 no). Hall Park won by seven wickets.
Alwoodley 133-9 (P Chapman 30, G Weir 37, C Henry 5-53, M Nian 3-031); *Ilkley 134-5 (J Hughes 67 no, C Quaife 21, R Jones 22). Ilkley won by five wickets.
