Bradford Park Avenue face a long trip tomorrow to face the UniBond League's only Scottish team Gretna.

Manager Trevor Storton was pleased with his players' response to a tame home draw on the opening day of the season last week when they won at Harrogate Town on Tuesday.

He said: "I can't see why we shouldn't be able to continue that form at Gretna. We have a high level of confidence."

Storton adds Mark Hancock to the squad after a two-game suspension and will make a final decision before the team's early start.

Guiseley travel to Cheshire to face Congleton Town and have injury problems. David Cooke was sent to hospital with a head injury on the opening day of the season against Ashton United, and Paul Bulgin received a cut eye and a 'deadleg' in Tuesday's draw at Belper Town.

Both are named, as are Tony Agana and Cory Larkin, who have only featured in one of the previous two games.

Farsley Celtic have a home game against Sheffield outfit Stocksbridge PS. Midfielder Wayne Noteman misses out with a groin strain, but Marc Stimpson is back in contention for the first time this season.

Thackley will have two new signings to parade after manager Andy Taylor captured Mark Burnham (ex-Eccleshill United) and Brian Brookes from Park Avenue's UniBond rivals Harrogate Town.
