PEOPLE are being asked to get in step and take part in a charity ramble.
Families are being invited to experience the delights of water and wind on the annual Ardenlea Amble, on October 15.
The moderately easy walk, which will begin and end at the Fleece Inn, in Addingham, will take in six miles of Wharfedale countryside.
Walkers will pass stretches of the River Wharfe, Haw Pike and underneath the wind turbines at Chelker Reservoir.
Brenda Doyle, fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer Care home, Ardenlea, in Ilkley, said: "We hope many people will join us on our lovely annual ramble. The six-mile route is certainly not difficult and it takes in some lovely views.
"All the money raised will help support our specialised services for cancer patients and their families cared for at the centre and in the community."
Registration will take place between 10am and 10.30am and people can register on the day.
There is an entry fee of £5 per family and £3 for adults, although people are still encouraged to gather sponsorship.
For further information and an entry form contact Brenda Doyle, Riddings Hall, Riddings Road, Ilkley or on (01943) 817395 or via email at bdoyle@mariecurie.org.uk
