WHARFEDALE Rugby Club's National League One trip to Camberley has been postponed due to the petrol shortage.
Players were facing severe problems securing petrol to arrive at a meeting place and a decision to call off the match.
The East Lancashire Football League programme has also been postponed
Due to the fuel shortage the following events have been cancelled:
Amerdale Hall, Arncliffe, fashion show organised by Friends of Arncliffe School, due to have taken place on Friday September 15;
Bolton Abbey Village Hall, dancing to Alan's Band, due to have taken place on Saturday September 16;
Cracoe Village Hall, Autumn Fair by Friends of Cracoe School, due to have been held on Saturday September 16;
Cracoe Village Hall, crafts and collectables, in aid of the Anaphylaxis Campaign, due to have been held on Sunday September 17.
Craven Musuem, Skipton, "It's all in the head", a study day, due to take place on Saturday September 16, now postponed until September 30.
