Manager Chris Hutchings admits Bradford City need to get their away form 'sorted out' after going down to their third successive defeat on their travels at Aston Villa on Saturday.
City have not only failed to pick up any points from their three away matches, but they have not scored a goal.
Hutchings said: "We need to get points away from home, but we have got to keep things in perspective. We have played three strong teams away from home so far in Liverpool, Manchester United and Aston Villa.
"But we need to take our chances. We have had chances in all the games we have played. We had decent chances to get back in the game at Villa Park - Ashley Ward had a good chance when the score was still 1-0.
"Goals change games and if we had scored at that stage it would have put us back in the match and given us a spring in our step. But we didn't take our chances and they then scored a second goal which made it difficult."
Hutchings cast doubt on the validity of Villa's second goal - a penalty 15 minutes from the end when defender David Wetherall fouled substitute Julian Joachim.
"It looked like six of one and half a dozen of the other, but the referee said it looked like shirt pulling," said the City manager.
"It is going to be a tough season, but we hope we can prove one or two people wrong."
Hutchings said he brought off Ian Nolan 31 minutes from the end because he felt dizzy and his vision was 'a bit blurred'. It was later learned the player was suffering from an attack of migraine.
City play Darlington away in the Worthington Cup tomorrow (7.30). The match is all-ticket for City fans and tickets are on sale at the Valley Parade ticket office.
