From the Telegraph & Argus of September 18, 1975...A former boxing champion who chased and caught a mugger was thanked by a judge at Bradford Crown Court yesterday. Lloyd Walford, 31, of Fenwick Drive, Bradford, a professional boxer, who was until recently the Central Area light heavyweight champion, saw two men knock down another man in the street. He chased one for 600 yards, caught him, and called the police.

The number of new registered commercial vehicles shows a big fall. The only exception to this general trend is seen in the figures for July in the case of cars.
