A product developed by a growing Bradford firm is set to become a world-beater thanks to help from its backers.
Fantas-tak successfully launched an innovative new glue dispensing product called Super Dots which is all set to become a world-wide success.
The firm was assisted by Yorkshire Enterprise Managers' Discovery scheme which is part of a £22 million package of support for small to medium-sized firms.
The package is managed by Yorkshire Enterprise Managers through its Regen 2001 programme which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
The scheme aims to find and nurture entrepreneurs, giving them help to get their businesses off the ground.
Past experience in the specialist adhesive field led partners Mark Auty, Richard Turner and Paul Simpson to identify a niche for a multi-purpose fastener. The three entrepreneurs formed Fantas-tak in the autumn of 1999, with production starting earlier this year.
Mark Auty, who is in charge of operations, said: "We spent months researching the marketplace and used the results to design a bespoke machine capable of producing rolls containing 5,000 miniature dots of non-toxic glue.
"Our unique product incorporates a stand with a velcro mount to offer an easy-to-use, hands-free, fast dispensing system."
SuperDots are suitable for thousands of different applications including attaching credit cards to letters and promotional items such as CD-Roms to magazines.
