Bradford Bulls coach Matthew Elliott has warned his men to expect a backlash from St Helens in Friday night's play-off showdown at Knowsley Road.
Saints missed out on the minor premiership after crashing 42-4 to the arch enemy Wigan on Friday night, but Elliott says Ian Millward's men can't play as badly again.
"I can say here and now that they won't play like they did on Friday," he declared.
"Even the top sides probably have one of those displays a year. Unfortunately for us, Saints had theirs the Friday just gone and not the Friday coming."
The Bulls go into the clash on the back of a defeat, having lost 25-12 in their final league game at Hull on Sunday.
But Elliott says the loss will help rather than hinder their chances of taking the first step on the path to Old Trafford and the Grand Final on October 14 with victory over Saints.
"It was an important game for us because we have people like Robbie Paul and Brad Mackay who needed a full game under their belts," he said.
The match at Knowsley Road is not all-ticket but the Bulls are urging fans to buy in advance to avoid congestion at the turnstiles.
Tickets go on sale to season ticket holders at Odsal tomorrow. Seats are available priced £14 for adults and £10 for concessions.
Admission to the terraces is £9 for adults and £5 for concessions.
The Odsal ticket office will be open from 9am-5.30pm tomorrow.
Tickets are on offer to the general public from Thurs-day when the ticket office will be open from 9.15am-8pm. They will be on sale again from 8.15am-noon on Friday.
