Skipton showed their opening day 7-0 victory over St Annes Celtic was no fluke when they hit the goal scoring button for the second weekend.

This time Craven Athletic, last season's Jeff Hall and Premier Division Cup winners, were on the receiving end as Skipton raced away with an 8-1 victory. After going in 3-0 up at the break they scored a further five goals while Craven could only manage a consolation affort.

Skipton's scorers were D Sharp, M Critchshaw and Ian Barnard who scored two each with solo strikes from J Allen and R Osadyenko.

In another one-sided game newcomers Cottingley beat derby rivals Bingley Brown cow 6-0. The home side led by five goals at the break while brown cow got their act together after the interval to restrict their opponents to a single goal. Cottingley scorers wre M McLassery (2), Lee Mercer (2), P Stevens and C Trowers.

There was a more even encounter at Keighley Victoria when they took on Midlands, the former Ferrands Arms, which saw three goals scored. Midlands took the points by the odd goal.

Shoulder of Mutton also Edged to victory by just one goal over Bocking. The home team led 2-1 at the break but Shoulder came back with two second-half goals to secure victory.

Stockbridge (formerly Bridge Inn) opened the scoring in the 20th minute against St Annes Celtic but then conceded five before the break. After the re-start they had a new face in goal and only conceded two and scored one to go down 7-2. Their scorers were A Dacres and Keith Morphet.

Silsden Athletic and Royal Oak shared the two goals in an even first half and in the second half Athletic really came out of the blocks scoring twice without reply to grab a 3-1 win. Silsden scorers were Neil Pepper, Stuart Lidsbury and Sean Feavior.
