The First Division title race goes to the last games of the season after Thornton and Embsay both won.
At the other end of the table the relegation issue was sorted out with Barrowford and Cowling being the sides to go down.
Leaders Thornton were at home to Bradley and plundered 198-7 with David Harrison leading the way with a fine 89 as Neil Robinson claimed 4-56. The visitors were never in the hunt and were dismissed for 99 with Stephen Lodge being the best bowler with 4-23.
Embsay were over at Pendle Forest, not one of their happy hunting grounds over the last few years, and after putting the homeside into bat reaped some early rewards. A Stephen Speak hat trick helped to get them to 22-5. Jason Bracewell 36no and Gareth Storey 22 helped repair some of the damage to get the total to 108, Speak finishing with 7-25. The Shires Lane side recorded a comfortable seven wicket win.
Oakworth are in third spot, and can go no higher, due to the number of games won compared with Embsay. They entertained Skipton CI and batting first rattled up 188-9 in their overs, Lee Hollingsworth top scoring with 48 as Michael Scarborough and John Crossley chipped in with 45 and 40 respectively, Shaun Williamson claiming 4-61. The Sandylands side were never quite in the frame despite a fighting 46 from Keiran Coe and they ended up 46 runs short of their target. Jeff Inman took 4-43 in 10 overs of leg spin.
Long Lee condemned Barrowford to relegation when they beat them by 74 runs. The Keighley side made 157 with Alan Coney top scoring with 39 as Martin Caygill tried hard to stem the runs with 6-46 from 14.5 overs. Jamie Robinson with 4-22 off 15 overs unseated the early order and the Bull Holme side were dismissed for 83, Pete Wellman scoring 38.
Sutton ensured their place in the top flight next season when they saw off the challenge of bottom side Cowling by 21 runs. The homeside were restricted to 120-6 in their innings, top scorer being Gary Williams with 38. The visitors skipper Steve Mitchell tried valiantly to get his side home but when he went for 32 the innings folded to 99 all out, David Holdsworth taking 5-32.
Eight man Haworth were dismissed for 90 at Carleton. The Ramper Park side cantering to a fine 10 wicket win.
The top two of the Second Division, Haworth West End and Foulridge, met at Noyna and the game swung dramatically the way of the homeside thanks to Mohammed Nawaz and his bat. Set to get 113 to win, the homesters were struggling on 51-6. Nawaz set about the bowling in conjunction with Tom Stephenson and the pair took their side to the points with 52no and 23no respectively.
A point behind Foulridge come Ingrow St Johns. They entertained and savaged Glusburn. The Saints made 175-8 in their innings with Colin Bottomley making 64. The visitors were then shot out for 62 with Z Iqbal taking 6-26 and Bottomley 4-21.
A further point behind, still in the promotion race, come Denholme. They encountered few problems accounting for J Nelson's by eight wickets, Gary Binns making 39no for the homesters.
Keighley TC recorded their second win of the season at home to nine man Barnoldswick III. Brian Clough with 46, assisted by Chris Wilkins 34, helped the homeside to 185-7 in their overs. Chris Brookes then took 4-23 to restrict the visitors to 71-8.
Cononley, on their travels to Gargrave, made 150-6 in their innings. Skipper Ian Thompson made 53. The homeside fell 48 short of their target thanks to a fine spell of bowling by Matthew Town who finished with 6-37 off 20 overs.
Matthew Cox made a fine 71 as Airedale beat Chatburn by eight wickets over in Ribblesdale.
Third Division champions Embsay were finished in quick time up at Shires Lane. Visitors Chatburn only had eight men and were dismissed for 71 with Ian Robson taking 6-15. The table toppers sauntered to an eight wicket win. This defeat means that Chatburn are relegated, along with Sutton.
Thornton move into second spot following their six wicket win up at Haworth. Colin Williamson with 60 had helped the Bronte side to 141-7 with Richard Thompson taking 3-47. The latter followed this with 50 to go with Simon Bailey's 34 to take his side to the points.
Bradley drop to third after going down by seven wickets at home to Pendle Forest. Mick Hall scored 34 as the homesters struggled to 127, Paul Hakin taking 6-45. The Fence side galloped to victory thanks to Andrew Mawdsley with 58no.
Oakworth's David Brunskill took his tally to 188 runs in two weeks without being out when he clobbered 115no off Glusburn's attack, to lead the Cure Hill side to a fine 55 run win. John Duffy took 5-32 for the winners.
Nine man Barrowford beat eight man Sutton by 130 runs.
There was a low scoring thriller at Skipton CI. Visitors Long Lee were restricted to 93 in their overs with A Rayner taking 4-25 and Ian Holden 3-23. The homeside then fell nine runs short as Martin Stables took 5-29 and Derek Preston 3-24.
Haworth West End and Cowling are promoted from the Fourth Division. The title will be decided on the last day.
The Bronte side were made to work hard to the points at home to Gargrave. The visitors made 158 with Ray Jones scoring 61 and C Foster 56no as Dennis Palmer took 4-34. The Bronte side were successful by seven wickets with Tim Welsh scoring 68no and John Robinson 33.
Cowling were in sparkling form at home to Denholme. Ian Watson scored 85 and Mark Batty 61 as the homeside plundered 233-6. The visitors were dismissed for 112 with wily veteran Vernon Rooke taking 6-21.
Third placed Pendle Forest III came unstuck at home to Ingrow St John's. Ken Halstead took 4-27 as the Saints were restricted to 107-9. The Fence side were then dismissed for 88, with John Jickells finishing with 4-13. Foulridge were triumphant by 18 runs on their travels to Airedale.
