Division One champions Pudsey Congs beat Bradford & Bingley by three wickets thanks to fine innings by Andre Stolarski and Paul Valcovics.

Congs were struggling at 91 for six chasing Bingley's 204 for nine, but they were rescued by a seventh-wicket stand of 87 between the pair before Valcovics was out for 53. But Stolarski with 56 not out guided them home.

Opener Sajjad Haider had hit 78 for Bradford & Bingley.

Ten-man Drighlington surprisingly beat Hanging Heaton by 11 runs thanks to a superb performance by Richard White-hurst. He scored 54 in Drigh-lington's total of 201 and took seven for 56 as Hanging Heaton were bowled out for 190. Drighlington's top scorer was Peter Lloyd with 86 not out.

Pudsey St Lawrence could muster only eight players against Baildon and lost by five wickets. Chasing 120, Baildon recovered from 27 for five before Stephen Davies (25) and Mich-ael Royce (73) formed an unbroken sixth-wicket stand of 98.

The biggest winning margin was at Yeadon where the home team crushed nine-man Brighouse by 185 runs. Andy Pickering scored 70 not out in Yeadon's 234 for four before they bowled out the visitors for 49.

Windhill beat East Bierley by seven runs, scoring 125 before bowling out the visitors for 118.

Nine-man Yorkshire Bank ended their Bradford League membership with a nine-wicket defeat at Cleckheaton, but founder members Lidget Green who have also resigned from the league could not raise a second team for the match at Farsley.

In Division Two champions Gomersal maintained their unbeaten record with a six-wicket win over second-placed Idle. In a match reduced to 38 overs because of rain, they restricted Idle to 117 for seven before Graham Hilton led them to victory with 54 not out.

At Manningham Mills visitors Saltaire won by five runs.

Shammi Munir played a match winning innings of 93 not out as Saltaire hit 210 for six and Mills were all out five runs short with eight balls left.

Bowling Old Lane had three half-century makers as they crushed ten-man Salts by 176 runs. Amjid Hussain (78no) and Ayub Younis (72) put on 137 for the first wicket while Yasmir Mir scored 51 as Old Lane totalled 217 for three. They bowled out Salts for 41.

David Towell scored 55 not out and took two for 13 as Lightcliffe beat Esholt by four wickets after restricting the visitors to 113 for nine.

John Ireland took seven for 30 in Spen Victoria's nine-wicket win at Undercliffe while James Baker took three wickets and scored 49 as Spen chased 66.
