AIREDALE and Wharfedale League champions Guiseley finished on a losing note when they crashed to their title rivals Adel on the last day of the season.

Guiseley made just 106 as they chased an Adel score of 154 after John Francas had taken 5-36.

Steeton's Guy Saxton grabbed a hat-trick in an eight wicket haul as his side defeated Skipton. Steeton made 174-9 with Mike Wilson a century maker.

Steeton's win saw them draw level on points with Guiseley at the top of the table but the defending champions failed to get as many wins as Steve Thompson's boys.
