AN eight wicket haul by skipper Richard Taylor inspired Menston to the Division B title win and promotion in the Airedale and Wharfedale Cricket League.
In the final game of the season Taylor tore into Calverley to reduce them to 84 all out with his 8-35 haul.
His side went on to win by nine wickets with long serving David Lester fittingly hitting the top score of 46 not out.
Going up with them will be Collingham who gained a 110 runs win over Illingworth after setting a target of 187-9.
Green Lane again suffered the bitter disappointment of missing out on promotion. They finished in third place after their win over Alwoodley who were put out for 74 as Tony Pickersgill took 6-22. Steve Hargreaves then hammered an unbeaten 62 as Lane won by seven wickets.
Ilkley has a nine wicket win over Otley which left them in fourth place.
