A man and a woman were being questioned by detectives today following the discovery of a man's body in Bradford city centre.
The pair, both aged in their 20s, were arrested at a address in Bradford only hours after the body was found between the NCP car park on Hall Ings and Bradford Interchange.
They were taken to Bradford Central police station, where an incident room has been established, for questioning.
Police cordoned off the area by the car park after a worker at the Interchange raised the alarm at 7.30am.
Officers were guarding the scene and not allowing members of the public near the spot where the body was found.
A police surgeon was also at the scene together with scenes of crime officers.
Inspector Harcharan Singh, of Bradford Central police, confirmed that the death of the man, who is thought to be in his early 20s, was being treated as suspicious.
He said: "It's very early stages at the moment and we don't yet know whether he jumped off, was pushed or what happened so are treating it as suspicious.
"We believe we know who he is but his identity hasn't been confirmed yet.''
A West Yorkshire police spokesman said the cause of death and exact nature of the man's injuries were still being investigated.
He added that officers were still not certain exactly how the man came to be at the spot where he was found. The dead man is thought to be local but has not been named.
A post-mortem examination was due to be carried out today, said Insp Singh.
Police are appealing for anyone who used or was in the NCP car park between midnight and 7.30am or who has any information about the incident to contact officers on (01274) 376485.
l Two more people have been arrested in connection with the death of another man early today.
The man, who is thought to be in his late 40s, was found by a passing ambulance crew at the junction of Scotchman Lane and Heaton Road at 3.40am.
It is believed he was the victim of an assault.
He was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary but was found to be dead on arrival.
A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were arrested close to where the man was found a short time later.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the man's death was being treated as suspicious.
