Police have appealed for information after a teenager was found dead near a Bradford car park wearing only boxer shorts and a shirt.
The body of Christopher Luke Stotton, 18, was discovered in a secluded area between Bradford Interchange and the NCP car park on Hall Ings just before 7.30am on Saturday.
The youth, who lived at Reyner House, Manchester Road, was dressed in a light blue, long-sleeved, striped Ralph Lauren shirt and red boxer shorts. Police are treating the death as suspicious.
At a press conference at Bradford Central police station, Detective Chief Superintendent Max Mclean said: "We are keeping an open mind as to how he might have died, but obviously it's of great concern that he was found in a state of undress.
"We need to know how he got into the area and what he was doing either at the Interchange concourse or the car park."
He said it was impossible to speculate on how Mr Stotton had come to his death but his multiple injuries - particularly to his head - were consistent with falling from a great height.
Officers guarded the entrance of the NCP car park over the weekend while forensic examinations took place.
The body was discovered by car park staff in a small triangle of land to which people would not normally have access.
It is not known how long the body had been there, but Det Chief Supt Mclean said he believed the fall to be "pretty recent".
He said there was no evidence of an attack before the fall and the incident did not appear to be drug or alcohol related.
"We would ask anybody who may have been in the vicinity of the car park or Interchange in the early hours of Saturday morning to please come forward," he said.
As reported in later editions of the Telegraph & Argus on Saturday, a man and a woman were questioned over the incident but have now been released without charge.
