Two Brighouse hairdressers are to travel to Berlin as part of a team representing Great Britain in the World Hairdressing Championships.
Andrew Petty, 22, of Shipley, and Dominic Stables, 20, of Rayner Drive, Brighouse, work at Taylors in Bethel Street.
Andrew, who has worked there since March, said he was looking forward to the trip. "Dominic and I entered the British Championships in Wembley in May and did quite well. We were approached by the man running the team who asked if we were interested in representing Great Britain."
Dominic has worked at Taylors for five years and has been in competitions before.
He said: "It will be quite exciting and a huge learning experience. If I win it will be an added bonus, but I will just enjoy it." He trained at Taylors Training School in Bradford Road, Brighouse.
The competition will see them creating an evening style for men and a fashionable, commercial male style involving a cut.
