Knottingley travel to Baildon tomorrow in very different circumstances to their visit of April, 1998.
Then the second-placed Jenny Laners only needed a draw to secure promotion from Yorkshire Division Four against their third-placed opponents, who needed to win.
And in what was one of the finest day's in Baildon's history they drew 16-16 in front of a crowd of around 500.
Both clubs are again in Yorkshire Four - the revamped version this time - but Baildon's placing is rather different. Ironically, Knottingley are again third, but Baildon are eighth out of 12.
Baildon coach Kenny Pollard describes their start to the season as "a little bit disappointing". He added: "We have played four matches - two in the league, one in the cup and a friendly - and lost them all having been the architects of our downfall.
"We have either taken our foot off the gas or made silly mistakes, but I am sure the problem is psychological rather than physical." Injury doubts mean that Baildon have named a squad of 19.
Bradford Salem are at home to Scarborough in Yorkshire Two, and will hope to bounce back from their 20-7 reverse at Roundhegians last week.
"We made two schoolboy errors and gave away 14 points," said Salem's coach Malcolm Lightowler.
Winger Paul Dobson, who replaced Damien Cope in the second half last weekend, retains his place, Cope being unavailable. James Fitch is on the bench.
Keighley are without former skipper Kevin Young (hamstring) for their home match against Hull in Yorkshire One, but have Tony Fella back after illness. John Duffy - another former captain - returns to the front row, and former Bradford and Bingley hooker or flanker Dave Pullan retains his place in the front row.
Cleckheaton have Graham Steadman at full back, Carl mason at prop and Rick Hunter in the back row for their Yorkshire One clash at North Ribblesdale.
Bees coach Matt Greenwood was not happy with his side's performance last week at Sheffield and has read the riot act before the North Division One match at Macclesfield..
"We seemed to think that all we had to do was turn up, but we needed to focus on the opposition and not how we had played against Ionians the previous week," he said. "I was not happy with our first half display at Sheffield. They got stuck in and scored four tries, and we couldn't catch up. We lost the match between our ears."
The Bees are set to be without Andy Murphy for several weeks because of work and family commitments, Barry Clarke replacing him. They give a debut to former Bradford Grammar School pupil Roger Raper at prop, but Richard Thomas is not available at tight-head following a car accident on Wednesday night. Matt Williams gets a chance at full back, Mark Coultas dropping down.
