Small firms in Bradford are being given a helping hand to win orders from larger companies.
Yorkshire Enterprise Managers has come up with funding for an Approved Supplier Scheme (APSS).
The scheme has been set up to help small firms meet the demands of larger ones which expect their suppliers to be quality businesses.
It involves Chambers of Commerce and Industry from around the region, including the Mid Yorkshire Cham-ber, which covers Calderdale and Kirklees.
Sarah Jewell, business devel-opment manager at Yorkshire Enterprise Managers, said: "The APSS scheme is tailored to assist small businesses by helping them establish a framework of good management practice through hands-on support and a series of workshops."
