Two fitness fanatics from Keighley will be taking to the heights of Ben Nevis next Friday to raise money for the British Epilepsy Association.
Christine Daley and Kelly Thompson are making the climb as part of the drive by the No 7 health club, on Devonshire Street, Keighley, and the No 7 Bodyshapers club, on Briggate, Silsden, to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
Health club owner Becky Vincent says: "We raised a bit of money for cancer care last year so I decided to do something for the epilepsy charity this year.
"It's a frightening illness and people who don't know about it keep away from it. The charity find it very hard to raise funds."
Christine, who has recently given up smoking and is using the climb as an incentive to keep getting fitter, is making the climb along with Kelly as part of the massive Ben Nevis Challenge 2000.
Becky says: "We're helping them to raise as much money as possible and hope people may come in and put their names on the sponsorship forms."
Gary Mawson, a member of Becky's staff, is in training to run the London Marathon next April to raise fund for the epilepsy association.
