Keighley Under-14s continued their winning ways with an 86-0 victory over Baildon.
They wre devastating in attack with the whole17-strong squad dominating the taller opposition. they scored 11 tries and added four conversions. Try scorers were Martin Finn (3), Richard Dewhirst (2), Ben Caine, Richard Parker, Tom Wareing, Ryan O'Keefe, James Morton and Chris Steele. Conversions: Michael Hebden (2) and Ben Hansen.
Cougar Cubs Under-14s Coyotes had only 11 players whenthey travelled to Milnrow, but ran in a 52-0 victory.
They played with supreme confidence and try scorers were: Andrew Lister (4), Robert Procter (2), Chris Clough (2), James Ogden, Sanny Spencer, and Andrew Norton. Goals were kicked by james Ogden (3) and Chris Clough.
Cubs Under-13s All Stars opened their season with a 14-12 victory at Underbank Rangers. they started slowly and were eight points down before Wayne Charlton scored form a 60m break.Chris Whitaker finished off another Charlton break. Charlton put Cubs into the lead and a penalty from Robert Owlett secured the victory.
Cubs under-12s secured a 4-4 draw after a tough battled with Dudley Hill. A 75-yard try from fullback Tim Bibby secured a share of the points with tremendous effort from new signings Ben Carley, Jason Baxter and Liam Gillard.
Cubs under-13s just missed out in a classic encounter with Clayton. they were 10-0 down before Peter Gower combined with Lee Shaw to go over in the corner. Gower added an incredible conversion to pull back to 10-6, but Clayton hun on for victory. "The lads were superb," said coach Tim Smith.
