Keighley Town's blend of youth and experience turned on a super show against the Rams, and the result was never in doubt.
Forwards Ade Clough, Paul Scott and Brian Ingham made hard yards all afternoon to give half backs Joe Smith and Neil Kennedy and loose forward Wayne McCombe the space they needed to run in a nine-try demolition.
Joe Smith and Scott, together with promising youngster Daz McNulty bagged pair each with Ryan Hanson, Tony Metcalf and Wayne McCombe scoring one each as Kennedy kicked seven goals.
Town's uncompromising defence led by Darren Walton laid the foundation for town Town and the pace and power of the side's young backs gave them a comprehensive victory.
Next weekend they travel to Hull where they play Skirlaugh Bulls in the Yorkshire Cup.
Morley Borough 48
Keighley Albion 'A' 20
Albion suffered their third successive defeat going down to new team Morley Borough.
The home side started stronger with Abion losing possession twice in front of their line and Morley soon romped in for a try. Though this was unconverted the following two tries were and it took 20 minutes for the Keighley to start asserting themselves.
Danny Bowness combined well with Craig Livock but it was Paul Sinfield who provided the short pass for Livock to score under the posts. Danny Bowness added the extra points and the Albion comeback looked on.
The hope was soon snuffed out whensloppy play gifted Morley an easy try. Worse was to follow as the Leeds side ran in two more tries before the break to lead 32-6.
At the break Coach Pete Dutton launched his side with a frank and fearless account of their efforts so far and they came back to open the scoring in the second half.
A long kick from James Young was fumbled by the Morley defence and Neil Earnshaw snapped up the loose ball and Craig Livock crossed for his second try, Danny Bowness adding the conversion.
Seven minutes later captain Paul Sinfield seized the opportunity and plunged over to put Albion were coming back into the game.
A converted try against the run of play saw Morley seal the match, but Albion did not give up. Neil Earnshaw's quick pass gave Danny Slater space in the corner.With 10 minutes to go Albion should have added further pressure to a tiring home side but sloppy play gifted Morley two late tries.
Albion can take heart from their efforts with credit going to Richard Wadsworth, Paul Sinfield and Adam Beaumont for their non-stop effort in attack and defence.
Tomorrow Albion 'A' get their first home game against Moorends in the second round of the Yorkshire Cup.
South Craven Crushers 12
Crigglestone 'A' 26
Crushers played host to Crigglestone All blacks and opened the scoring after with a try from hooker Gordon Ferguson converted by Chris longbottom. Three minutes later Robin McAndrow increased their lead with another converted try. Crigglestone replied with two uncovnerted tries within five minutes, pulling back to 12-8 at half time.
The latter part of the second half was dominated by the All Blacks who scored a further four tries again missing the conversions, but securing a healthy victory.
