Mark Buckenham scored seven and Mark Huggins five before Steve Bird helped himself to a hat-trick. Andy Thorn-ton, Jamie Poole, Ian Crewe and Darren Fazackerley scored one each.

Robert Scott and Paul Jen-nings both bagged hat-tricks as Strachans moved into third place after a 7-3 win over Station Athletic. Their other goal was scored by Darren Banks.

Athletic had a dream start when Daniel Burrows put them ahead from the spot, but Strachans then took control and made good use of home advantage as their opponents never looked comfortable on a small pitch.

Strachans were 5-1 up at half-time and, as Athletic tried to get back into the game, they were awarded a second penalty, but this time Burrows fired wide from the spot after he had been fouled.

Strachans then increased their lead and, although Paul Moorhouse gave Station a glimmer of hope when he pulled a goal back, the home team blocked their way back into the game.

One in Twelve lost their 100 per cent record in spectacular style as TFD beat them 6-1. Paying the price for basic mistakes, they found there was no way back after they trailed 3-0 at half-time.

Scorers for TFD were Edward Calvin (2), Tony Benton, Tim McLoughlin, Keith Briggs and Philip Garner.

Secretary Craig Williams scored a consolation goal for One in Twelve.

Bradford Deaf recorded their first win of the season by beating Mail Coach B 3-1.

East Bowling continue to lead the way in the Premier Divi-sion. Their latest victory was a 7-2 home success against Roe-buck, despite a mighty effort from the visitors' goalkeeper Jason Powell.

Mail Coach bounced back from the previous week's defeat, but were pushed all the way by Wibsey before winning 3-2.

Dave Loxam gave Wibsey the lead before Peter Pilgrim and Johnny Hart edged Mail Coach in front by half-time.

Chris Dolby equalised, but Scott Taylor scored the winner for Mail Coach five minutes from the end.

Brook Crompton stayed in second place after beating U Save DIY 3-0, while Beehive beat the Royal 6-5.
