Tariq Hussain is the hottest shot in the Bradford Sunday Alliance Premier Division.
The Albion Sports midfielder has scored an Alliance record of five hat-tricks in successive games and netted 20 goals in just eight matches.
He has scored at least one goal in every match he has played this season.
Hussain has already exceeded his tally of 13 for the whole of last season and is genuinely surprised by his rich vein off form.
His goals have fired Albion to the top of the table on goal difference above East Bowling Unity although Albion have played a game more.
The 28-year-old, who helped Albion win the Premier Division title, West Riding County Cup and Senior Cup last season, said: "I have never had a run remotely like this before.
"I think my success is due to the work of my team-mates. I have been making runs into the box and they have been picking me out.
"Scoring five hat-tricks in the last five games has been beyond my wildest dreams.
"It has been great to be scoring so many goals but it is equally important that the team keeps winning."
Hussain's nap hand of trebles started against Calverley Victoria.
Dudley Hill Rangers, Hudsons, Wibsey WMC and Bolton Woods have since fallen victim to his goal-scoring.
Ironically he missed Albion's only defeat - the 3-0 reverse against East Bowling Unity - due to his work commitments.
