Some of the most advanced digital technology will be on display when Bradford firm Pace Micro Technology takes a stand at a major exhibition.
The Saltaire firm will be exhibiting its hi-tech wares at the BCE 200 exhibition in London from October 17 to 19.
Pace, a pioneer of digital technology for the home, will demonstrate its evolution from the digital cable set-top box to the Home Gateway.
The gateway allows people to watch TV, send e-mail, send messages to friends and relatives, surf the Net and carry out shopping and banking.
It also allows people to turn on their lights, close curtains, set an oven going, and receive messages about repair needs from kitchen equipment such as the fridge.
Tim Fern, the firm's engineering director, said: "Visitors to Pace's stand will not only see the most advanced digital cable technology available worldwide today, but will experience the exciting potential of Pace's future cable gateway technology within a networked home."
