REVELLERS at this year's Otley Victorian Fayre are in for a treat - a specially made brew.
Produced at the town's very own Briscoe's Brewery, at the Bowling Green Pub, the winter brew is set to warm the cockles in the coldest of days.
Trevor Wallis, landlord of the Bowling Green, said: "It's a wintry, warm beer and more than four per cent proof - it's sure to be a winner."
Organisers of December's fayre are now looking for someone to come up with a suitable name for the brew - and the winner will get the satisfaction of seeing his or her named beer sold all over the town.
Jonathan Kirkland, committee member, said: "The person with the winning suggestion will be suitably rewarded and will have the satisfaction of seeing the beer they have named drunk all over Otley."
Mr Wallis urged all the pubs in Otley to order some of the beer which will go on sale from November.
"We're hoping that all the pubs that benefit from the fayre will take two or three cases of the beer."
Suggestions should be made by October 14 to Jonathan Kirkland, Westholme, Westgate, or e-mail jonathan@otley.co.uk telephone (01943) 461905.
