"If we play our best footie, we will win."
That's the confident prediction from Bulls coach Matthew Elliott ahead of tonight's final eliminator against Wigan at the JJB Stadium when a place in the Grand Final against St Helens at Old Trafford next Saturday is up for grabs.
"I think everyone recognises that our challenge this week is a little steeper than it was against Leeds," he says. "But we all understand what needs to be done - there is a lot of confidence about the place.
"We want to improve on our Leeds performance - and that is the talk among the players, not just me."
The Bulls are aiming to make it fourth time lucky against the Warriors having lost twice and drawn once in their meetings so far.
But last week's astonishing 54-16 win by Saints over the Warriors was ample evidence of the unpredictable nature of clashes between Super League's big four and tonight's tie is simply too close to call.
"If you're a betting man, keep your money in your pocket because anything can happen," admitted Bulls' former Wigan stand-off Henry Paul, who is aiming for a third successive Grand Final appearance. "I'm more nervous than I've ever been going into a game.
"Playing for Wigan, you were always confident going into a game. We're confident at Bradford but there is nothing between the top four and I know what Wigan can do.
"We beat St Helens twice but they came back and beat us a fortnight ago. It's who holds their nerve."
Whatever the outcome tomorrow, emotions are sure to be running high in one camp come the final whistle.
Defeat for the Bulls would bring to an end the four-year reign of Elliott, with Brian Noble stepping into his shoes, while David Boyle would also be ready to pack his bags for Australia at the end of his two-year contract.
If the Bulls make it through to the Grand Final tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders at Odsal tomorrow from noon-6pm on production of voucher F. They will then go on general sale on Monday from 9.30am-7pm.
Prices are £10, £15, £20, £30 and £40 with no concessions. Credit card and cheque purchases will be from the ticket office and cash transactions from designated turnstiles.
