Eccleshill United missed the chance to break into the Premier Division's top six when they let a comfortable lead slip at Armthorpe Welfare.
The visitors missed a host of chances after taking a first half lead in a performance that coach John Price described as 'overall disgraceful'.
"Armthorpe are a very poor side," he added, and we have let them beat us so that writes its own story doesn't it.
"Our lot took a lot for granted on Saturday, they were too cocky before the game and in the dressing room at half-time. They thought all they had to do was turn up.
"It was a case of after the Lord Mayor's show after last week's 4-1 win at Liversedge. We were strolling it in the first half but the trouble came when we carried on strolling in the second and they caught us up.
''This United team are capable of doing a lot better and the lads know that so they have let themselves down as much as anyone."
United's management team decided to keep faith with last week's team selection and in the early stages it appeared to be the right choice.
With Stuart Taylor and Dave Elvidge on the bench, Karl Cochrane and Lee Margerison again formed a makeshift front line and both went close before United took the lead.
Midway through the first half a good move down the left wing brought Richard Wilson into a crossing position. His centre found Kevin Woodhead just two yards from goal and he stabbed the ball home.
The home side were still on the ropes for the first 15 minutes of the second half but United's failure to increase their lead came back to haunt them.
Armthorpe played their way back into the game and Jason Brown levelled just after the hour. Then, to complete United's misery, Carlo Pacifico struck and 80th minute winner.
Taylor and Elvidge replaced Cochrane and Margerison and both missed chances in the last ten minutes. And even in the final minute another chance went begging as skipper Martin Pattison headed over from Mark Senior's cross.
