Bradford City are giving a trial to 21-year-old Jamacian striker Kali Ongala in tonight's reserve match against Leeds United at Valley Parade (7pm).
Ongala, who plays for the Jamacian league club Seba United, has been recommended to City.
They hoped to play him in a testimonial match against Scottish League club St Johnstone a fortnight ago and in the last two reserve matches, both against Blackburn, but they did not obtain international clearance until today.
The team also includes striker Dean Saunders, making his first appearance in a City shirt for almost two months.
The Welsh international has not played in a first team or a reserve match since a Premiership appearance in City's 2-0 defeat at Southampton on February 10.
Goalkeeper Aidan Davison returns to action after serving a one-match ban for being sent off in a reserve match at Sunderland.
City Reserves: Davison, Brodie, Emanuel, McKinlay, Morgan, Myers, Jones, Kerr, Saunders, Ongala. Subs: Lee, Worsnop, Fishlock, Hardy, Lo Piccolo.
