Bradford Bulls chairman Chris Caisley says contract talks with seven players are being put on hold until after the Silk Cut Challenge Cup final at the end of the month.
Henry Paul and Leon Pryce have been linked with moves to rugby union, while Brian McDermott, Stuart Spruce, Mike Forshaw, James Lowes and Scott Naylor are also out of contract at the end of the year.
But Caisley says: "The season has really only just begun and we have some important matches to focus on.
"We have not made any offers at this stage but once the cup final is over we will be talking to Brian Noble to gather his thoughts and then to the players involved.
"There are obviously some big decisions to make but this is not really the time. Having said that I am pretty confident about the outcome of the discussions."
Forshaw and Spruce, both 30, and McDermott, 31, have already expressed a desire to finish their careers with the club.
The Bulls are urging fans travelling to Twickenham for the Challenge Cup showdown with St Helens to use the club's official travel.
Seats are £25 per person and will leave Odsal at 6.15am on the day of the match.
"We feel we offer the best package," said Bulls media manager Stuart Duffy. "Secure, free parking will be available at Odsal and our coaches are also assured parking at Twickenham.
"We will also present each fan with a commemorative Bulls pen to celebrate the 100th Challenge Cup final."
Around 1,800 tickets remain of the Bulls' 14,000 allocation for the final and are on sale at Odsal until 8.30pm tonight.
