Fears of a US economic slow-down appear to have had little impact on companies in the region with 58 per cent antici-pating an upturn in orders, 14 per cent up on last year.
Seven out of ten companies are looking to retain staffing levels with a quarter hoping to take on extra employees.
But backing for the Euro is still only at 48 per cent.
Ian Campbell, director general of the Institute of Export, said: "It's great to see Yorkshire exporters are remaining op-timistic about the future."
