Oxenhope under fives playgroup held an Easter parade and end of term concert on Tuesday. The children dressed up in Easter costumes and enjoyed performing songs and karaoke. Playgroup leader Barbara Revington says: "The children really enjoy our Easter fete and there was a party afterwards.
"We had a tombola and a cake stall and it was a chance for us to do a bit of fundraising and for the kids to have fun as well." The playgroup is based in the local community centre at Oxenhope and runs four mornings a week with 26 two and a half-year-olds to four year olds attending each session.
The emphasis is on learning through play and the staff ratio is one adult to five children.
The group successfully passed its full Ofsted inspection last October and is achieving the early learning goals laid down by the DfEE.
