Nine new magistrates have joined the Keighley Bench.
They were formally sworn-in at a ceremony at Bingley Courthouse on Wednesday.
They are: Nirbhai Singh Bhandal, 56, a supply teacher, of Bingley; Rodney Stuart Breen, 55, of Bradford; Mrs Freda Conquest, 48, a civil servant, of Keighley; Martin Joseph Gilhooly, 47, a business consultant, of Shipley; Mrs Ann-Marie Marsden, 40, a community staff nurse, of Keighley; Thomas Harry Metcalfe, 46, a training consultant, of Skipton; Peter Boyd Riley, 52, of Ilkley; Miss Wendy Susan Robinson, 37, a teacher, of Shipley, and Mrs Alison Lilian White, 45, also a teacher, of Bingley.
The Keighley Bench -- which now has 96 magistrates -- is seeking more recruits. The role is voluntary, but expenses are paid. Applications are particularly welcome from younger people. Anyone interested should contact Deborah O' Melia, at Bingley Courthouse, on 01274 518325.

And mock courts are planned at Bingley Cour-thouse on June 26 and 28.
