Police descended on some of Keighley's most wanted this week.
The town became the focus of the Target Initiative -- West Yorkshire's biggest ever crime crackdown -- this week.
A total of 11 people were arrested in Keighley and several hundred in the whole of West Yorkshire as part of a large scale arrest programme in the county.
Burglars and robbers have been the focus of this week's operation but drugs, car crime and violence are also on the agenda of the two-year campaign.
Fear of crime, which the police say has overtaken crime itself, will also be fought via high visibility patrols and community projects.
Keighley's raids on Tuesday were the second of a week of early morning actions throughout the county.
Chief Superintendent Adam Briggs, who heads the operation said: "We want to reduce crime and send a clear message to other criminals, saying if you continue to commit crime you will be caught. This gives communities confidence that the police are taking a more positive action.
He added: "We are targeting persistent criminals -- those people we have prima facie evidence to arrest. A lot of these people have been dealt with by the courts and have a number of community service orders and probation orders they have breached. We are taking them back to court."
