THIS reminder of generations of neat and tidy pupils who attended Keighley Girls' Grammar School was supplied by Mrs Ann Moran, of Harper Square, Sutton, who as Ann Shuttleworth stands fourth from the left on the back row.
The form is 5A in 1962, and she thinks the teacher was Miss Watson.
Mrs Moran has named all the girls.
Back row, left to right: Sonia Robinson, Margaret Moore, Joyce Daggett, Ann Shuttleworth, Susan Barker, Janet Field, Catherine Mason, Valerie Kitchen, Susan Petyt, Susan Thompson, Marika Watkin, Christine Sunderland and Jacqueline Pye.
Front row: Catherine Altinson (whose face unavoidably disappeared in a crease!), Barbara Watson, Marjorie Bell, Catherine Hartley, Rosemary Drake, Margaret Kitchen, Adele Nutter, Diana Thompson, Maureen Green and Susanne Hargreaves.
Keighley Girls' Grammar School had moved into its Greenhead Road premises in 1934, when Lord Halifax officially opened classrooms accommodating 510, together with lecture-rooms and laboratories, playing-fields for hockey and cricket and five hard tennis courts.
