Jim Jefferies is heading to the Continent for a second weekend's scouting as he continues to cast his net wide in the search for new players.
One of the players the Bradford City manager is tracking is a 24-year-old Belgian striker Joris Van Hout, who is believed to be valued at about £500,000 by his club, Mechelen, but there are others who are on his list of possible targets.
Jefferies watched Van Hout in action last weekend in a First Division match against Aalst and he is planning to watch other matches in Belgium and Holland this weekend.
The Bantams' boss, who is taking advantage of City's blank weekend, the scheduled game with Tottenham being postponed due to the Londoner's FA Cup semi-final date with Arsenal, said: "We watched a couple of players, including Van Hout after being advised to go to the game.
"There were also a couple of players on the Aalst side we had been tipped off about.
"We will take reports from that game and decide if we will watch them further.
"We are planning to take in another couple of games this weekend in Belgium and Holland, but we have been watching games at home as well and my list of targets is starting to take shape."
Jefferies, who is looking for new players to add to the present squad has been delighted with the response of the team in the last two matches against Manchester City and Newcastle United.
He said: "We have seen the nucleus of the side in the last couple of games. The players have worked well together.
"We need a bit of extra strength and quality in the squad for next season and I am confident we will do well no matter what division we are in."
