Management consultancy the Phoenix Partnership is enjoying a major expansion.
It has grown to the point where it now has six associates and has moved to town centre offices at 24b Cavendish Street, Keighley, above The Children's Society shop.
Phoenix Partnership was set up in 1990 by consultant and trainer John Holt, working from his Riddlesden home.
Now its six associates bring different skills and backgrounds to the company's work with private and voluntary sector organisations.
"We do lots of interesting things with lots of interesting people, involving consultancy, training and team building exercises," said development worker Rod Gibson.
"We work with organisations and individuals to provide organisational development, personal development, professional supervision and professional skills training.
"In the last few years we have branched into the corporate sector, and have found we can use a lot of what we learned earlier in the voluntary sector to good effect.
"We have a mixture of skills from different backgrounds, which gives us plenty of flexibility to provide custom-built packages for our clients.
"We can bring a fresh approach and look at things from different angles."
Co-ordinator John Holt said: "We specialise in visioning and strategic planning.
"We have a unique selling point in that we can offer services which are very much tailor-made to what each individual client wants.
"We offer a free initial consultation and then design an individual package, which can be altered as the contract progresses.
"It's all very much about listening to what people want."
Services are provided on site or in conference centres, but Phoenix hopes soon to be able to cater for small groups at its own Cavendish Street training room.
John said: "Most of our work so far has come from the cities - including Leeds, Bradford and Manchester.
"But we are hoping to increase our client base among local companies.
Recent contracts have included working with the Mersey Basin Trust which was set up by the Department of the Environment to regenerate waterways in the North of England.
The project had been running for 10 years and needed to evaluate what it had achieved and where it was going.
"We carried out a visioning exercise to look at strategic planning for the next five years," said John.
"That is typical of the work we do."
Major clients have included the Save the Children Fund, West Yorkshire Probation Service, Leicester City Council, NCH, Relate, Shelter, Barnardo's, Bradford University, Yorkshire Water plus councils in Bradford, Leeds and Oldham.
