Magnet's flagship store at Crossflatts is spearheading a nationwide expansion plan which is set to revitalise the way consumers shop for new kitchens and bedrooms.
Following a major £50,000 upgrade, the new-look Keighley Road store has re-opened for business with a host of extra state of the art ranges. It also has a new children's area, creative zones and even working kitchens to provide the ultimate interactive retail experience.
Store manager Nigel Hannon said: "People no longer come in just to buy a kitchen, bedroom or bathroom - they are coming to buy a new lifestyle.
"It's vital, therefore, that our store inspires, stimulates and offers practical solutions, to help today's consumer create the look that meets their increasingly individual needs."
The Kids Zone is sure to be a hit with children - and their parents as well. It includes a selection of books and a Playstation console with the latest games, and a Disney video compilation.
In the Creative Area customers can browse through a wide selection of drawer, handle and worktop options, allowing them to personalise their choice.
A multimedia facility with information about Magnet's appliance suppliers and prices will also feature, along with a seating area with refreshments and copies of home interest magazines and brochures.
Magnet's design team will be on hand to provide advice and room layouts via the latest 3D colour design systems.
The working kitchen brings an element of theatre, with chefs brought in to give live cookery demonstrations several times a year.
Nigel Hannon said: "Magnet has always led the way in the design, styling and quality of its product ranges, and now we are investing significantly in creating an in-store experience to reflect our brand positioning."
