Craven Cricket League is to press ahead with the season despite a threat from the Foot & Mouth crisis.
There were fears that the whole cricket season could be under threat after a number of grounds were closed, but at a meeting on Wednesday night the league decided to go ahead.
League secretary Ann Bailey said: "Any clubs who cannot use their own grounds will be able to reverse the fixtures if possible and in any games which cannot go ahead both sides will be allocated one-point for a 'no-result'.
"Most clubs have reached an agreement with neighbouring farmers and now only Haworth WE and Carleton cannot use their grounds."
