Bulls' kingpin Henry Paul has promised a decision on his Odsal future by the end of next month.
The classy Kiwi, who has been in scintillating form this season, has been targeted by England Rugby Union chiefs and talks are understood to have already taken place with national boss Clive Woodward.
But Paul says the lure of the Bulls remains as strong as ever and he will put all thoughts of his future on the back burner to concentrate on helping them retain the Challenge Cup at Twickenham on Saturday week.
"There have been several approaches through my agent but I don't like talking about it until after that game," he said. "I want the focus to be on the team and doing our best to beat St Helens."
Another option for Paul would be to move to the National Rugby League Down Under but he admits the pull of staying alongside brother Robbie with the Bulls is a massive one.
"I would like to play in the NRL - it's a major ambition of mine. But I also see the potential of this team for the next three years and believe it's going to be awesome.
"Robbie players a big part in it too I love playing alongside him and we play well together.
"We go together well as a commodity and it's great to have him around. But he's not worried because he's already got his contract!
"Seriously, he has said he wants me to stay but at the end of the day he knows it's my decision and I have to do what is best for me and my family. At some time I will sit down with a piece of paper and draw up some pros and cons.
"Rugby union does have some appeal but there is so much to think about I don't want to think about it all right now.
"We will let the Challenge Cup look after itself and then sit down and consider what is on the table.
But this group of players is a pretty special group and there is so much more for us to achieve.
"I probably won't make a decision for another month or six weeks. But the club is already looking at players for next season and they won't wait forever. The club will be first to know though."
Meanwhile three-quarter Michael Withers is urging Bulls coach Brian Noble to keep a place open for him at Twickenham.
Withers is in danger of missing the final after breaking his hand against London Broncos nine days ago.
"The doctor said it would take six weeks to heal but, if it's 50 per cent, I'll play," said Withers. "I'll do anything to play in the final.
"Every Australian footballer watches the Challenge Cup back home. It looked good but when you get here and see what it means to the supporters, it's awesome.
"I reckon it's the best showpiece for rugby league in the world." Meanwhile, giant Bulls prop Paul Anderson, pictured, attracted a lot of attention from young fans at the club's open day yesterday.
