Police have named the third Keighley drugs overdose victim in a month as father of four, Graham Midgley.
Mr Midgley of Staveley Grove, Ingrow, was dead on arrival at Airedale General Hospital, Steeton, on Thursday evening.
Mr Midgley, who leaves a partner and three daughters and a son by a previous marriage, died of a suspected overdose of heroin.
Detective Inspector Trevor Gasson of Keighley police said officers were appealing for people who could give details about Mr Midgley's movement on the evening of his death to come forward.
He said police had not ruled out a link between Mr Midgley's death and others connected with heroin in the Keighley area over recent weeks.
Det Insp Gasson said: "It's a very tragic case. The family is devastated.
"There is no direct link between this death and the others, but we are not discounting it - there is still more investigation to carry out."
Mr Midgley is the third person to die of a suspected drugs overdose in Keighley since March 16.
The first was Tracey Bradley, 28, who died at the flat she shared in Wensleydale House, Braithwaite, Keighley.
Christopher Wilson, 34, who lived in nearby Swaledale House, died on the same day.
"We are now awaiting toxocology tests on the bodies before we can comment further," said Insp Gasson.
He said it was hoped the tests would tell if the heroin was mixed with another substance.
Det Insp Gasson added: "We are appealing to people in the community who might have some information to come forward. We don't want another tragedy like this."
l Two men have been arrested in connection with the offences.
Jason Caswell, Tracey's partner, was charged with supplying her with heroin. He was remanded on conditional bail until Monday, April 30.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on Friday morning on a drug-related offence following the death of Mr Midgley. He was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
