More areas of land shut to help stop the spread of foot and mouth have been reopened by Bradford Council.
Latest areas to be back in public use include Harden Moor and Penistone Hill, near Haworth. And Brow Moor has been reopened following talks with Yorkshire Water. But footpaths leading from the areas of moor on to farmland will remain closed.
Councillor Anne Hawkesworth, pictured, the council's executive member for the environment, said: "The council is opening up new land gradually after a thorough risk assessment has been made.
"Part of the risk assessment is the requirement to maintain buffer zones. We are being very careful not to open up too much land or too many footpaths because of the continued risk of foot and mouth outbreaks in the district."
