People from across the district were egged-on to visit Keighley's historic manor house last weekend.
And the special Easter activities ensured East Riddlesden Hall's opening weekend was a choctastic success.
More than 700 people visited on Friday with more than 300 Easter eggs being given to children who took part in an egg hunt.
The popularity continued throughout the weekend, culminating on a successful Easter Monday when attractions included story telling.
The hall was among National Trust properties all over the country which could not open on their usual date due to the foot and mouth crisis.
Special measures, including building a fence to keep visitors away from a neighbouring farmer's field, meant East Riddlesden Hall could open for Easter.
Liz Houseman, the hall's visitor services manager, says many National Trust members visited the hall because other properties were still closed.
But she was happy to see many paying visitors from places such as Ilkley and Bradford.
Liz says: "Hopefully, we'll keep up the visitor numbers at East Riddlesden Hall for the whole spring."
The hall's gardener will take visitors around the gardens on Tuesday, at 1.30pm, to talk about spring flowers.
The house steward will lead a three-mile walk around Riddlesden on May 2 to learn about the neighbourhood's history.
The hall opens on Saturdays 1-5pm; Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays noon-5pm; and bank holiday Mondays. Phone 01535 607075 for details of events.
