Keighley Parish Church have admitted they are behind the times - by two hours, to be exact.
The church clock has been attracting attention since the beginning of British Summer Time, when parishioners first started commenting on its mistaken messages.
But Andrea Foster, acting church warden, said there was nothing they could do about the tardy timepiece.
She said: "We have tried to mend it, but we can't at the moment. There's something wrong with the mechanism."
The church inherited funds for maintaining the clock from the mechanics' institute and these will be used to hire a specialist in clock repairs within the next fortnight.
All are welcome for Sunday services at 9.30am - or 7.30 for those who go by the church clock.
