Graham Midgley is the third suspected Keighley heroin victim since March.

Tracey Bradley, 28, of Wensleydale House, Braithwaite, and Christopher Wilson, 34, of nearby Swaledale House, both died on Friday, March 16.

Toxicology tests on both bodies revealed a presence of heroin.

Police say stress there is no "apparent link" between Mr Midgley's death and the other two at this stage.

Detective Superintendent Philip Sedgewick, who is leading the inquiry, does not believe a bad batch of heroin is to blame.

He says: "What kills you is the body's tolerance to it. And it makes the body shut down. Your breathing slows down and you just choke or drown. Injecting drugs is not a safe thing to do. Any parents who've got concerns should get advice from doctors or advice groups."

Police are urging anyone who could help them with their inquiries to come forward.

Det Supt Sedgewick (above) says: "The very fact there has been three deaths in Keighley is three deaths too many.

"Somebody has supplied these three people so it's our job to find out who they are and prosecute them and they will go to prison."

Anyone with information should telephone 01535 617085/617059 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Jason Caswell, Tracey's partner, was charged with supplying her with heroin.

He was remanded on conditional bail until Monday, April 30.

Two men aged 27 and 28 and a 15 years-old girl were arrested in connection with Mrs Wilson's death.

They have been bailed to appear at Keighley Police Station on May 15.
