JOHN TAYLOR claimed his second Urban Bunny run victory last week.
The Bingley Harriers athlete romped home in the race at cliffe Castle park in 17mins 15secs, but was pushed all the way by clubmate Ian Holmes who was desperate to regain he has made his own over the fells.
Holmes was just two seconds behind Taylor in the sprint to the tape with Siggy Gould, also of Bingley in third place a further two seconds behind.
Rob Hope of Pudsey and Bramley kept up chase with fourth place just a further two seconds down.
Eighth place Mick Hawkins was Egg Stage winner while Steve Oldfield clinched his 14th over-40 victory.
Mark Buckingham of Holmfirth continued to show he is a real talent for the future with 12th place overall to claim the Under-16 title in a time of 18mins 46 secs.
Steve Moss of Spen took the Over-50 title with a time of 20:48 which brought him home in 39th place overall.
Pauline Munro of Bingley was the women's champion in 41st place with a time of 20:52 while Malcolm Coles of SkyRac took the Over-60 award in 23:12.
A total of 204 athletes took part with 55 ladies completing the run.
Bingley won the mens team prize with a 1-2-3 clean sweep with Pudsey and bamley in second place which keighley and Craven took third place. Bingley also won the ladies team title with Pauline Munro, Sharon Tyalor and Helen Johnson counting.
n The third runin the series is next Thursday with a fourth event on April 26 and a Bunny runRelay on May 3.
