ONLY two games were played last Sunday due to the Easter holidays.
The games which did go ahead saw clubs playing under-strength teams.
In the Silsden Athletic game against Shoulder of Mutton the home team appeared to have been able to play the stronger team, although there was little to choose between the teams with a 2-1 half time scoreline.
In the second period the home team proved to be the stronger, scoring four times while Shoulder could only add a second.
Jamie Cunningham scored a hat-trick for Silsden with solo efforts from Rob Wilson, Gary Lund and Andy Pepper. Steve Whittaker scored both Shoulder's goals.
Once again Cottingley's secretary had to come out of retirement to make up his team's numbers and although their opponents, Midland, scored four in the first half and three in the second he refused to accept the blame.
He did point out that Midland are currently on target for runners-up spot.
Fixtures
Silsden v Bocking; Stockbridge v Cottingley; Royal Oak v Keighley United; Keighley Victoria v Shoulder.
