IF SUNDAY'S London Marathon gets you in the running mood then it's time to line up for the BUPA Great North Run.
Once again the Keighley News is joining forces with race organisers to run a 'Race with a Race' with special prizes for local runners.
We also plan to print a complete list of athletes taking part in our event before the run together with a list of times once they have crossed the finishing line.
The Great North run is the world's biggest half marathon event with 41,000 people taking part every year. It has also raised millions of pounds for charity since the event started in 1981. A total of 192 people have run all 19 races so far and this year will see the 500,000th runner cross the finishing line at South Shields.
The race will take place on Sunday, September 16, leaving plenty of time to get fit, but entries must be in within days.
There are three ways to enter:

3 Should there be an obvious difference between predicted and actual finishing times the organisers reserve the right to check the identity of the participant.
4 Runners must include their postcode on entry forms.
5 Normal Keighley News conditions apply.
